Sydney, Australia and Irvine, CA, October 23, 2024 - Morse Microelectronics, a leading provider of Wi-Fi HaLow solutions, today announced that it has been awarded the “Best Wi-Fi Innovation” award in the 2024 Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) WBA 2024 industry award for Best Wi-Fi Innovation. The award recognizes Morse Microelectronics' breakthrough Wi-Fi HaLow SoCs, which redefine long-range, low-power connectivity and address the need for stable and reliable connectivity for Internet of Things (IoT) applications.

Morse Microelectronics' portfolio includes the industry's smallest, fastest and lowest power Wi-Fi CERTIFIED HaLow SoCs and modules. As the IoT ecosystem use cases continue to expand, Morse Microelectronics is extending coverage to 10 times that of a traditional Wi-Fi network, increasing the coverage area to 100 times, and reaching 1,000 times capacity.

Wi-Fi HaLow utilizes the IEEE 802.11ah standard and operates in the sub-1 GHz band, enabling long-range, low-power wireless communications ideal for IoT applications. The MM6108 SoC from Morse Microelectronics plays a key role in this area.
